CPFC DSA Men’s Player of the Season 2025/26

Crystal Palace footballer receives his award from members of the DSA

The winner of the CPFC DSA Karen Green Player of the Season trophy for 2025/26 is Crystal Palace's forward Ismaïla Sarr.

The award was presented to Ismaïla by DSA member Ruairi Coyne, just before today's final home game of the season against Arsenal at Selhurst Park. In a demanding campaign that included a deep European run, Sarr established himself as a vital focal point for the team, stepping up with crucial goals across all competitions—including important finishes in our UEFA Conference League journey.
Leading the club's scoring charts this year, his clinical edge and tireless work rate upfront have been a key highlight for the fans. Sarr's consistency in leading the line made him a standout choice for the supporters' vote.

CPFC DSA Chair Charlotte Woodward said, "Ismaïla has shown fantastic dedication to the team throughout a long and challenging season. His pace and sharp instincts in front of goal provided us with some of our best moments of the campaign, particularly during our European nights. He has worked incredibly hard for the squad, and he is a very deserving recipient of the DSA Player of the Year award."

The Award was set up in memory of DSA committee member Karen Green who sadly passed away in 2022. She was an enthusiastic Crystal Palace fan as well as being prominent in pushing for improvements around the Selhurst Park stadium to help make it a more accessible venue.
