Supporting Our Disabled Community
Christmas came early to the CPFCDSA when they received a donation of £1000. Adam Sells of Sells Goalkeeping Products came up with the idea to auction a pair of Vicente Guaita's signed goalkeeping gloves to raise vital funds for the group. He approached James Daly of the Five Year Plan who agreed to hold a silent auction over a weekend in December. There were two successful bids of £500, so Adam obtained a second pair of gloves for the two top bidders. Adam said” When Karen green approached me to help out the DSA out financially, I was only to pleased to help out our disabled fans. I am so glad the silent auction raised such a brilliant amount which will fund the work to support the CPFC disabled community.”
Karen Green vice Chair and Press Officer replied “A huge thank you, goes to Adam and James for this fantastic amount of money to help support the Crystal Palace disabled fans. The money will go a long way to keep the DSA going for a considerable time.”
