The winner of the CPFC DSA Karen Green Player of the Season trophy for 2024/25 is Crystal Palace's high energy full back Daniel Munoz.

The award was presented to Daniel just before the last home game of the season, a 4-2 win against Wolves. After a near-ever present season the skilful defender signed a contract extension in April 2025, committing his future to the club until 2028.

As well as picking up the Club's Player of the Season Award and the Players' Player of the Season Award, Muñoz also delivered the assist from the right flank that Eberechi Eze volleyed home for the winning goal in the FA Cup Final. It capped off a brilliant season during which he scored 6 goals and provided 8 assists across all competitions.

CPFC DSA Chair Charlotte Woodward said "Daniel has truly embodied the spirit of Crystal Palace this season. His relentless energy on the right flank and defensive grit have been matched only by his vital contributions in attack, including a memorable goal against Brighton and the assist at Wembley.
To maintain such elite performance across more than 50 appearances is extraordinary. He is a most deserving recipient of the DSA Player of the Year award."

The Award was set up in memory of DSA committee member Karen Green who sadly passed away in 2022. She was an enthusiastic Crystal Palace fan as well as being prominent in pushing for improvements around the Selhurst Park stadium to help make it a more accessible venue.
